Benevolent Society Launch Fuller Foundation

The Benevolent Society, the charity of the British Allied Trades Federation (BATF), is pleased to announce the launch of The Fuller Foundation.

The Fuller Foundation is a legacy trust which will support individuals looking to advance within a company to enable a managerial or directorate level change to both the individual and the company, through the study and application of continuing professional development, training and/or education.

Its aim is to enable individuals to progress their managerial competences to director/executive competency level within the company in which they are currently employed.

This new initiative is administered and managed by The Benevolent Society in addition to their existing bursary support for individuals who are looking to advance their careers to the industry.

Patrick Fuller said “This is an exciting opportunity to give a younger individual in the Trade the chance to gain an MBA or similar business qualification to further their career in the future management requirements of our Trade.”

The Hockley Flyer magazine is entirely funded by the advertising, but could do with a little bit more funding. The advertising not only pays for the design/printing, but also postage, delivery, all the associated paperwork/accounts, and research for the Heritage section. Subscribers pay only a bit more than the postage/mailing costs, and the magazines are free - no cover price.
