The Newman Bros at the Coffin Works are having an evening where they are inviting people who worked in the trade in the JQ during the 1960s and 70s to come and share their memories about life in factory during this time; this is the period in which the museum is set.

The Hockley Flyer magazine is entirely funded by the advertising, but could do with a little bit more funding. The advertising not only pays for the design/printing, but also postage, delivery, all the associated paperwork/accounts, and research for the Heritage section. Subscribers pay only a bit more than the postage/mailing costs, and the magazines are free - no cover price.
