Just writing to say how much I enjoyed the October edition of the Flyer and particularly and predictably on the FA Cup. Mind you, I always think it is a shame that Vaughton’s were in Great Hampton Row when they made the Cup just before they moved closer to the heart of the JQ in Livery Street.
Cycle Lanes:
‘On another subject, everywhere I go there are roads with one-way systems/cycles only which makes driving a nightmare at a time when we are advised not to use public transport if we can avoid it. The JQ is no exception and that is not good for either the jewellery trade or museums etc. It seems to me these ‘pilot’ schemes are doing things by stealth!’
