Gemvision Hails UK Arrival of Stuller Partnership

Jewellery technology leader Gemvision will be hailing the UK launch of its strategic partner and premier global jewellery manufacturer Stuller on stand P28-Q29 at The Jewellery Show. Stuller’s arrival in the UK consolidates the Gemvision and Stuller partnership, bringing superior technology and fulfilment capabilities to the nation’s independent jewellery industry.

As a DTC Sightholder, multi-award winning Stuller is the largest supplier of coloured gemstones in the USA. Its UK launch at The Jewellery Show sees Stuller showcasing its global expertise in tools, coloured stones, precious metals, and contemporary metal wedding bands.

In particular, Stuller’s UK account holders will have exclusive access to an online retail showcase feature, where retailers can see individual images of gemstones online, view grading reports and allow retail customers to select their own stones, with profit margins pre-selected in advance by the retailer.

As precious metal suppliers, Stuller will also be presenting ‘Sterlium Plus’ to UK manufacturers, a tarnish resistant, sterling silver alloy that retains its bright white colour with the strength of 14ct, making it ideal for gem setting.

Gemvision formed a strategic partnership with global jewellery connoisseur Stuller in 2009 with the aim of enhancing customisation tools for retail jewellers.

The partnership produced CounterSketch Studio, a 3D jewellery design platform that means retailers can work together with customers to design their own uniquely personalised jewellery. CounterSketch Studio allows customers to design their own uniquely personalised jewellery, which is then crafted by Stuller. Each one of over 2,500 finished designs can be modified in 3D to customer preference with an intuitive set of controls, creating an infinite number of possible customised designs.

“Gemvision and Stuller have set a benchmark for jewellery design software by evolving the art of jewellery design in a way that’s never been seen before,” said Gemvision’s Graham Dicks. “Stuller will be based in Leeds and with a dedicated staff, which means we are now able to deliver a truly enhanced offering to retailers and manufacturers, with an unrivalled combination of world leading CAD/CAM products and fulfilment capabilities.”
