Glittering Gifts and Sparkling Silver this Christmas

‘Centrepiece Jewellery’ designers will be providing the public with a superb opportunity to seek out the perfect gift or individual commission at this year’s Centrepiece selling exhibition at the Symphony Hall, Birmingham, from November 11th – December 23rd 2010.

Open from 10:30am to 8:00pm or later 12 fabulous showcases will be brimming with handmade designer jewellery to treat yourself and others.

‘Centrepiece Jewellery’ was formed in 1997 creating an opportunity for designer-makers working in the Jewellery Quarter to showcase their work to the Birmingham public.

The 2010 show features diverse designs of earrings, pendants, necklaces, cufflinks and necklaces in assorted materials such as; Gold, Silver, Aluminium and Resin.

A vast range of designer makers will be exhibiting their jewellery making choosing that special item a tantalising delight! From Miranda Sharpe’s sleek style and bold use of coloured resin to Anne Bracey’s flowing forms and extraordinary use of gemstones, there is a style to suit everyone’s tastes. The selling exhibition is once again kindly supported by The Birmingham Assay Office, the largest assay office in the world.

In the 21st Century, The Birmingham Assay Office offers expert opinion on every aspect of the precious metal, jewellery and gemstone trade. You will find their signature Anchor hallmark on the jewellery and silverware on sale at Centrepiece.

This winter is the perfect opportunity to try a unique shopping experience and buy an exclusive and stunning gift directly from the person who has designed and made it locally!
