Preparations for the Intergem 2022 trade fair, which will take place from 23 to 25 September at Messe Idar-Oberstein, are entering the final spurt. Things will be more relaxed this year, as masks and the 3G rule are no longer required. Around 90 exhibitors will present not only high-quality coloured stones and diamonds, but also pearls, engravings, exclusive jewellery creations and accessories in the exhibition halls.

Of course, visitors will benefit from the excellent trade relations of the gemstone and jewellery companies from the Idar-Oberstein area, which have grown over a long period of time, enabling them to offer unique highlights. Have a look at the list of exhibitors online at www.intergem.de or via link https://intergem.venue-hub.de/home/exhibitors.

In the supporting programme, jewellery and gemstone insider, journalist and internationally renowned blogger Katerina Perez from Paris will for the first time present the jewellery fashion show with selected pieces from the exhibitors, which will be showcased by regional models. The Intergem Lounge will focus on the important topic of sustainability, with talks by Guya Merkle from the Berlin-based company Vieri on the topic of “Impact – the new sustainable” and Desirée Binternagel from the company Fairever on fair and sustainable gold mining.

The “Long Night of Gemstones” will celebrate its premiere on Saturday evening from 7 p.m. to midnight. As a special and free offer for exhibitors, trade fair visitors and all interested locals, six top attractions of the city and the industry, such as the German Gemstone Museum, the Steinkaulenberg gemstone mine and the Bengel industrial monument, as well as specialist institutions such as the German Gemmological Institute, will open their doors in a pleasant evening atmosphere.

The fair offers a shuttle service to the locations. There will be an exciting programme at each location including nice entertainment. More information on the accompanying programme offered by the locations, a roadmap, and the opportunity to register for guided tours can be found at www.intergem.de/lnde-en.
