Tom Lynall’s Models

Tom is 25 years old and has been around the jewellery trade all his life. He has always been passionate about jewellery and never wanted to do anything else.

Tom makes these models for enjoyment and started about two years ago when he thought he would try ‘something different’.

He is a big fan of the Discworld books and the style in which Terry Pratchett writes and wanted to portray that in his models.

Since seeing the models, Tom was commissioned by Terry to make a piece for his wife’s birthday.

Tom tells us: “I feel that with today’s modern technology I.E Laser welding opens up a wide alternative when assembling intricate work.

This is one of the reasons some of my models are made in miniature scale. I work with a laser every day in Lynall & Co and specialise in difficult sizing/alterations.”
