Major Jewellery Retailers Embrace F&L’s ‘Grand Tour’

The prize-winning Birmingham jewellery company, F&L (UK) Ltd producers of ‘Dawn’, the eye-catching collection that won the 2007 Kayman Award, has announced a national tour of its luxury jewellery collections to some premier retailers throughout the UK.

F&L is collaborating with Harvey Nichols in London, Bizu, in the Burlington Arcade, London, Helen Hulston in Birmingham, Catherine Jones in Cambridge, and Malcolm J Freddie in Belfast and Wave in Manchester to stage a month-long, branded exhibition of its jewellery in each of these stores. The tour begins in August at Harvey Nichols.

The initiative is the brain-child of F&L’s managing director Fei Liu, who is also responsible for the design of the jewellery to be exhibited.

The three brand new collections that will go on tour are:

The 18ct gold Dawn Collection, which is inspired by coral, features South Sea pearls, diamonds, and colourful gemstones in a range of different coloured golds. It offers rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings and small studs.

‘Sweet Rose’, which is ideal for the bridal market, features cream or pink Akoya pearls and some very unusual colour fresh water pearls, such as blue purple or rich pinky peach, mixed with a stylish three-dimensional 18ct white gold rose motive with pave-set diamond and different coloured sapphires.

The ‘Drop’ collection is produced in matt, yellow, white, or rose gold and features diamond spangles suspended in space like tiny sparkling rain drops that dance and shine as the wearer moves around. This highly contemporary collection offers large and small pendants in both oval, circular and round 3D shapes as well as oval, circular, and round earrings and unusually shaped rings. This collection is very fashionable and is a must for women seeking the ‘Wow!’ factor.

The F&L exhibition will be supported by stylishly branded point-of-sale display materials, packaging, and literature.

“F&L is a relatively young business so this Tour is a very exciting initiative for us and we are delighted to be working with so many well-established retailers to bring our jewellery to the widest possible consumer audience,” says Liu.
